Get to Know Us

Jayme and Traci have been married for 30 years as of May 2025, but their journey together started long before that—in 6th grade science class, where they were partners in an experiment that would last a lifetime. Together, they’ve built a beautiful life in Norman, Oklahoma, raising four incredible kids ranging in age from 11 to 25.

In 2024, they turned a creative side hustle into a business, starting with hat bars and vinyls. By the end of the year, they knew they wanted to expand into embroidery. While taking a class in early 2025, their instructor asked if they were pursuing embroidery for business or pleasure. They confidently answered, “It’s our dream to make this a business.” That same instructor had just listed her business for sale the day before—a moment they knew was a God wink guiding them toward their new path.

Traci brings years of business experience, having spent 27 years in oil & gas before a career shift into branded merchandise (swag), where she worked for nearly four years. Jayme has been dedicated to the State of Oklahoma for over 30 years. Now, they’re combining their skills and passion to build Here's the Stitch into something truly special.
